We're seeking 2 applicants to join us for monthly meetings to oversee the library's operation.

Who can apply?
• Residents of Melbourne, Rhodes, or rural Marshall County
• Non-executive members of the Friends of the Library
• Men, women, or GNC individuals
• People with any level of education and any variety of skills

Trustees have 5 main roles:
1. Advocate for the library in the community, and advocate for the community in the library.
2. Plan for the future of the library.
3. Monitor and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library.
4. Adopt library policies.
5. Hire and evaluate the library director.

This is an important position but not a highly demanding one! Meet with us for about an hour monthly to hear about what’s happening at the library and provide feedback and approval on library matters. We need your voice to represent your neighbors and steer the future of the library!
